TOSHIBA SATELLITE A305-S6858 TURNING OFF/BOOT LOOP/ISSUES

TOSHIBA SATELLITE A305-S6858 TURNING OFF/BOOT LOOP/ISSUES

The past few months I've been dealing with a lot of Toshiba A305's models, it's a very popular line but has its flaws as many other models in the market.

A few weeks ago a client brought me one of these models and this one was turning off for a few seconds then coming back trying to upload the system and sometimes even trying to make a recovery from the hard disk. After a few tests I realized there was an issue with the hard disk, it was messed up so after taking out the HDD I turned on the computer and it wasn't turning off anymore it was normal just in the BIOS screen so you might think well it was just a hard disk issue and of course you went out and got a replacement...  but then, guess what!?,

Keep reading it gets better!!!!!...

After getting an HDD replacement I tried to install the OS (Operative System) with different methods, using the Windows original disk, trying to boot it from a USB and nothing, for some reason the controller wasn't communicating properly and it wasn't recognizing the booting files form the USB or the drive, with the HDD, so I decided to try something else by adding an external drive and booting it up from there, the installation started but then the the same issue, the computer was turning off again and the installation didn't complete so when it came back was doing the exact same thing trying to make a recovery and turning off.

Well you should know this is not a power issue, BIOS issue or a hard disk issue (even though in this case the hard disk got messed up), is a controller issue, the controller is not communicating with the hard disk properly which means this motherboard is messed up. This particular model (A350-S6858) has motherboard issues, apparently this one is not as good as other models from the line A305's.

So that being said if the computer shows this behavior means the motherboard is messed up in this case caused the HDD to get messed up as well. Unfortunately when this happens there's only one option and is the replacement of the mother board, you can get one of these on ebay most of these replacements are refurbished or used.
